Getting Ready for the Big Game

Munchie's mad. (Gotta love the red eye effect sometimes)

Even though he wasn't born last year, Anderson carries bad memories of Ohio State's performance in the National Championship game against Florida. Experiences in utero can shape you, I guess. So it's no surprise that he's psyched this year to kick a little LSU tiger tail. And he doesn't even want to hear about speed in the SEC anymore.

He's still mad that Ohio State - ranked number 1 in the polls - gets no respect and is a 4 point underdog against LSU. But that won't keep him from tailgating all of tomorrow and drinking his beverage of choice (breast milk) to excess before the game. His big concern is that the game starts around his bedtime and that he may not be able to cheer his Buckeyes onto victory. In his eyes you can tell that he's trying to convince his parents that he's a big boy now (he just turned 4 months old yesterday) and can stay up late for the game. We're not so sure.

Here's Anderson thinking about Chris "Beanie" Wells running through the LSU defense ...

On an unrelated front, we're set to close on our new house on January 17th. For those of you who have visited us in Austin, it's closer to downtown and the Town Lake running trail, where Natalie, Anderson and I went yesterday during the *80 degree day* that we had on January 5th. We say that to remind ourselves about having to scrape off snow and ice all of last year. Or have cars that get stuck in the driveway (ugh. If that happened to me now I'd be moving to Austin as soon as I got a job!) At any rate, here's some pictures of the inside of what will be our new house .... more about this in a future blog.

Thanks to The Dunnans for the Buckeye outfit ... and Happy (belated) New Year to all!
